yes, that's why I was hoping that @pazziards would comment on what his BIOS version is. I think that most likely is why his EFI works on his computer, and mine results in sadness.

Thanks @pastrychef for your assistance and the quick turnaround with this. Unfortunately, I get the same results: - I can boot into clover, - I see the ++++++ - then the machine reboots. Is there a way to do a log dump or debug of what's going on???

@pastrychef the EFI is based off of yours, but I added all of the Aptio fixes I could find. I left the "active" one in the Drivers folder, then moved the other files into the Old filevault drivers folder. I have tried everyone of them, both with 64MB of prealloc memory, and 128MB of memory...

I'm not sure why Pazziards' EFI doesn't work for me, but it doesn't. I tried the DVMT preAlloc as 64MB and 128MB, but neither work. @pastrychef -- where do I find all of the different Aptio fixes so I can troubleshoot with those? SO far I have tried the one from Pazzairds, and the 2 different...

Pastrychef, I finally got around to fixing the DVMT Prealloc. But now, when I boot into the Apple installer, I see the first +++++++++++ going across the screen, then the computer reboots. I set the DVMT to 64MB, and my DVMT was located at 0x350 (which i set to 0x2). COuld it be the...

thanks, pastrychef, I'll give this a try. BTW-- I have an HDMI capture card and I plugged the Optiplex SFF into an HDMI splitter: one HDMI into capture card with capture software, and one into the monitor I was using to install.

pastrychef, I'm not seeing any love from your EFI. I'm trying the EFI_v4 and trying to install Catalina. Using your file directly, I get the "Prohibited" sign. When I put the USBInjectAll kext in, I get all the way to the graphics part, then I reboot/loop there. No love here. Any Ideas?

Above, pastrychef suggested using his EFI files, which he has on the link in his signature. I'm trying that out right now.

that's why I asked Keema how they got theirs going. I'm stuck in the Reboot loop... when it tries to install.
