First of all, we were using the VGA provided with the screen. We switched to a HDMI.
OSX boots perfectly with and without your flags, so I think everything is good for the moment.
I did not expect the VGA cable to prevent the computer from booting...

Just like that on top of my head, I don't think that motherboard is compatible (correct me if I am wrong). Stick to the Buyer's Guide or Golden Builds in the forum to make sure your parts are compatible.

Ethernet seems to work better. I haven't seen the problem since installing a previous version of the kext.

I had this problem and it was due to IGP being enabled in the BIOS. I now boot directly from my 760 and it works (changed config in BIOS).
Do you have a GPU ? I would say this is related to graphics...
Can you boot with -v and post the output (where it crashes) ?

I built it and use it mainly for video editing but it also is my main rig so it's used a lot for genreral stuff. My W7 drives are for gaming. It's a pretty polyvalent rig !
