Sorry guys,
I have the same mainboard... which OS are your running? El Capitan?
In Multicast 8.1 I can't find any USB3.0 drivers. What am I missing?
Thanks in advance for your replies :)
Hi jbamford,
Does it mean that I have no escape from this? :(
I've tried disabling USB3 as well... but still.
The 'funny' part is that Elite2k has the same mainboard and he's not complaining about any sleep issues.
So I'm kinda pushed to think that it has to be something else... or...
Hello guys,
Regarding these sleep issues... I have a 'strange' one.
Basically, once I wake up the pc, USB mouse becomes extremely slow. The only workaround is disconnecting and reconnecting it.
I've explained things in this post...
Thanks for your post. It helped me in (almost) fixing my setup.
Just curiosity... do you have a USB mouse? If yes, does it work properly after your pc wakes up from sleep mode?
I've just posted here...
Hello,
I've been able to install from scratch El Capitan using the unibeast instruction on the main tonymacx86 guide (16GB USB stick).
My current hardware configuration is this:

i7 2600k
GeForce GT 520 1024 MB
SanDisk SDSSDA240G

Since that day, I've just...
No worries :)
The difference between your procedure and mine is that you're basically moving the home directory of one single user. All the other users (if there are other users) will get the home in the original place.

I did something similar... but in a slightly different way... if you interested have a look here (it's always good sharing ideas i think) :)

This can be done on any disk (raid1 is not required). In this way you can have all users mapped on the new...
Hello guys... I'm a bit confuse about "hyperthreading" on Mac and hackintosh boxes.
I've built my own hackintosh and i'm really happy except for the fact that I can see iMovie extremely slow.
Moving on i5 2500 I thought to see improvements. It's a quad core 3.5ish (can't remember exactly), but I...
I run a memtest and it shows DDR3-1298 / CAS 9-9-9-24
I believe the description of this RAM is not really correct.
About the BIOS setup, I've followed the link I've posted. I'm not running the most recent BIOS anyway. I kept F9.... not sure if this can help :)
