I'm having this exact same problem after a fresh 10.9.5 installation. Everything else works. Only difference is... I have built-in ethernet on my motherboard (MSI Z87-G45, Killer E2200 Ethernet). I'm currently using Clover bootloader. Any advice?

What bootloader are you using? What kind of BIOS do you have (UEFI?) Are you booting via EFI or did you install OSX in legacy through Chameleon? I ask so I can help you avoid this problem a second time.

Also, if someone could show me how to remove the very distracting line spacing - I'd appreciate it alot! Thanks!
