If we're talking about 11.6.8 update, its create new boot entry called i'm not sure "Boot ... Install ... for Big Sur" or something like that and the first time you choose it then after reboot it disappears and you boot your regular entry "Boot Big Sur via Preboot".
After first reboot around remaining 12 minutes you should see Boot Big Sur Install from Big Sur then os continues to install and after second reboot you'll see Boot Big Sur from Preboot.
Thank you guys! Unplugging all drives solved stall at "Less than a minute remaining..." in the end of installation process with subsequent "Installer resources weren't found" error.
Solved it by copying AppleAHCIPort.kext to S/L/E from El Capitan (Attached file from 10.11.6) and rebuilding prelinked kernel.
Note that my installation is on HFS+ regular HDD volume. Well, technically the error was "Still waiting for root device" and scrambled graphics just after "HID: Legacy...
Solved it by installing the latest Clover with default config, then edited config manually.
All custom kexts placed in Others and deleted all the rest folders in kexts.
The same thing for me. I have Apple USB Keyboard with mouse connected to it.
[UPDATE] lzb, you're a genius! Plugged mouse to separate usb and the problem gone!

Installed MacOSX Snow Leopard using iBoot, got DSDT F15 from this website, tried to get sound working in many ways, but still no sound except voodoohda v 0.2.1 (line out works fine but line in has huge delay so thats not solution for me...) if someone got sound working on this mb please answer...
