I used to have the same issues as you. If you searched this thread, you would also find the solution mentioned multiple times. ;-)
Turn off/disable DisplayPort 1.2 on your monitor and those issues disappear.
I had the same issue with the NUC restarting when the monitor enters sleep.
Sounds funny but you need to disable DP 1.2. I have a Dell monitor and whenever DP 1.2 is enabled, the NUC restarts when the monitor goes to sleep. When I disable DP 1.2 the monitor goes to sleep without the NUC...
From reading the past page of messages, at least I am glad to find out that I am not the only one experiencing these graphical issues where the GPU crashes and the display freaks out.
However, since both @sosurim and @tazman1937 have managed to stabilize the graphics, I believe there is hope...
When you say rock solid, does that mean the graphics crash issue is completely gone as well?
Are you using the smbios settings from sosurim's EFI package, or did you make changes to it yourself?
Did you remember to mute one of the audio channels under midi settings? That should clean sound up nicely.
What are your graphics settings in the bios? Minimum and aperture. I can only get a value of 64 mb for the minimum setting to work. Changing aperture does not seem to make any difference...

I installed Yosemite the Clover way and got ethernet working through driver installation using Multibeast...
