I had the exact same issue with my SLI 970's. Check this thread and see if anything there can relate to your situation. I have a feeling that you'll find answers there because System Information told me the same thing with the "NVidia Chipset" thing. Best wishes!

I would reccommend the GTX 760 2 GB. It works natively out of the box and hardly ever needs additional help. I used one on my first build and graphics never gave me trouble. Hope it works for you!
