Have you tested on an over-HD screen? If it works, what did you do; what is your device ID from system profiler? My HD4600 doesn't go over 1920x1080 on a 2560x1440 screen since upgrading to 10.9.5 and 10.10. Thanks!

That script and the AppleHDA one from github... I know it should be as simple as double clicking and entering password, but it doesn't ask me for a password and it doesn't modify the kext files. What could be wrong with my terminal? Or could it be that the kext files' permissions cant allow...
