Hey,
Sorry, I don’t think I can help you with this. This was awhile back and after doing that there were so many problems that I actually gave up and eventually bought a Mac because I ran into so many driver and kext issues that it wasn’t worth it with this machine.
Sadly, after following all of those steps, it still did not work. The USB ports still stop working.
If anyone else has any other suggestions, I would be happy to hear them. If not, I guess I'll stick to Yosemite.
Ah crap, just saw this now after I finished installing Yosemite (Yosemite installed on the computer super easily, didn't have to change any flags or anything). Since I'd rather have Sierra than Yosemite, I'll try this.
Thanks for your help.
Tried a different USB drive, now it's at Clover again, back to my initial problem.
Move it to a USB2 port, if it is already in a USB2 port move it to another and try again. - Only USB2 ports on PC afaik
Repeat until you have tried all USB ports. - Yep, I've tried all
Use a USB2 flash drive. -...
That is a possibility, but I've made the USB again 3 seperate times, with 2 different macbooks. I tried sierra twice and el capitan. It works fine on another laptop that's laying around but does not work on this computer.
I never said the computer was stuck, I said it was stuck at the cursor, I also said I reset the BIOS. The only other thing is a wireless card, and I tried removing it and the USB still does not boot.
Also the blinking cursor, since the SSD is empty.
EDIT:
Another edit:
So I plugged in the USB without the SSD connected and I booted to the USB, and it went straight to network boot for some reason, which means it's not even trying to boot the USB
Thank you for the several suggestions. I would love to try them but now I'm running into a new issue.
Now, the computer does not want to boot from the USB. I'm not sure why, as it was able to boot just a few minutes ago. I made no changes at all, and now when I select "boot from USB" all I get...
Fixed images.
What I'm trying to say is I cannot add my system to my profile because none of the options are even remotely close to the computer I have. Core 2 Duo isn't an option, I don't know my motherboard because it's a prebuilt, and the AMD R7 series is also not an option. Unless you want...
I don't understand what you mean. In my post I gave my computer specifications, and you can find them here:
If you're talking about adding my computer specs to my build profile, it's essentially impossible...
And I do not understand what you mean by "there is no requirement to host your...
Hi, I’m trying to get my hackintosh working on my computer. I made a Sierra Hackintosh USB with UniBeast choosing “Legacy”, and “Inject ATI”.
My computer specs are as follows:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz
8GB DDR2 RAM
256GB SSD (completely empty)
AMD Radeon R7 240 GPU
PCI Wireless card (I...
