This is great news, if all goes well that's one less thing to worry about. So far I've tested various USB 2.0 and 3.0 devices on all my ports, including plugging everything into the USB C hub. No issues yet!

Oh really? When I connected my Logitech Wireless Receiver to the top 2.0 port (in the row of four), it showed up as HS05 as per the diagram. The bluetooth port was HS14 for me
Scratch that, I did a reboot (why not) and now the Trackpad is working! :D
