thanks. That seems to work. Is there any downside in using these SSDT files?
Edit:
I could also install my Update of GrandTotal without any crash with the SSDT files you provided.
I'll test further
Here's the current debug after setting the framebuffer patches.
..still crashing
Edit:
BTW, my NUC also crashes every time I want to update my invoicing app GrandTotal.
Using only the 4K mon and also only this one with HDMi doesn't help.
I changed the config.plist, but did you mean framebuffer-con1-flags or framebuffer-con1-type as in the framebuffer-con0-type?
Also should I set ig-platform-id 0x3ea50000?
I did this all (ig-platform-id 0x3ea50000...
OK, so I have a 4K monitor, and I want to change the HiDPI Scaling in the System Preferences (see attached screenshot)
It is in the "looks like 1920x1080" mode and when I want to change that into a different mode, the Nuc crashes.
I wanted to change the screen resolution. After booting up it was set to 1080p mode. So I wanted to change the HiDPI mode to see more. When I do this, the NUC crashes.
Sorry for the incomplete debug. I attached the right one now and also with both mons.
I am having trouble with my new NUC8i5BEK. It reboots sometimes, mostly within a minutes of logging in.
Also I am able to run my 4k Mon besides my 1440p mon, but as soon as I try to switch away from 1080p mode on my 4k mon, the system reboots.
I use -cdfon and a USB-C to DP cable.
I hope...
