Just want to add: if you previously set Security -> SecureBootModel to Disabled, you can set it to Default or your system-specific value on 20B5022a and OpenCore 0.6.3.
VMware support was able to help resolve this issue. Using the tech preview, in the VM's settings > Processors & Memory, I needed to uncheck "Enable hypervisor applications in this virtual machine" under "Advanced options".
One issue I encountered is that VMWare Fusion won't launch my virtual machines. It's saying:
"VMware Fusion does not support nested virtualization on this host.
Module 'MonitorMode' power on failed.
Failed to start the virtual machine"
The install of Big Sur was flawless on this end. Initiated install, and it took about 50 minutes, but it finished and greeted me with the new login screen. No issues noted as of yet.
I'm running the GM build (19A582a) and have some serious stuttering with my Magic Mouse (A1657) and my USB ports not getting full power (using custom DSDT).
