Thank you for the reply! It was suggested that I try some different USB ports, and that worked straight away. No patch required. The USB port all the way at the top left of the IO works (just left of the "USB Hotkey" port). Hope this helps someone!

Ok, I fully installed Yosemite, and attempted to upgrade to el capitan following tonymacs guide. once I select install osx from the clover menu, it does exactly the same thing, loads the initial screen and reboots... I'm very confused.

Oh, and the system boots into windows OK... Also, creating a 10.10 installer with the exact same unibeast and same USB drive boots the installer with NO issues. I recreated the 10.11 USB and I have the exact same issue, loads the initial screen and reboots the computer.

What settings are you using for the custom resolution? switchresx does show a 4k 60z resolution as standard, but I notice you do not use that one. Simply creating a custom 4k resolution without changing anything must just default to that same resolution because it doesn't create a new resolution...

I use Windows to play fallout, civilization, bioshock, and games like that. When I really want to flex the 3930k and dual 780s I play classics like Lemmings and quest for glory on the mac side.
