Hey people,
I ran into a problem I can't really wrap my head around. I've build my system based on this guide more then a year ago. Everything worked fine, but 2 days ago, from one day to the next, it didn't boot anymore.
No updates or whatsoever happend, nothing was changed, no new...
I just checked, when I saw this post, and there is nothing in my PCI list? Is this purely cosmetic or did I do something wrong in my EFI or config?
Final Cut works, so iI assumed internal Graphics do work.
Best regards!
I'm using the Asus Strix Vega 64, but I wouldn't recommend that one, it has some issues with fan speeds in OSX.
Check the forum and the buyer guide for recommended ones.
The difference is, the Vega 64 is faster, but as long as you are not using your hackintosh for 4K video editing or live...
Hey, as I wrote before, I ordered this M.2 adapter to free a PCIe slot but still have BT and Wifi.
It was easy plug'n'play!
Only thing you should consider, is to order longer cables for the antennas if you want to keep the PCIe holding bar from the other adapter for this solution. Now I can...
It is. There is a TB3 header on the mobo. You need an Alpine or Titan Ridge add-in card, that will occupy a PCIe slot. See here.
So, if you have a GPU that blocks 3 PCIe slots (like mine), you can go for a M.2 adapter, or (that is also my Plan B if the adapter doesn't work) cram a flexible PCIe...
Hey, just wanted to get back to you, as I was using this thread to get everything up and running.
My Hack is working perfectly now, Sleep/wake, BT and Wifi (via Broadcom Card), everything is nice. Even the noisy Vega64 by Asus shut up, when I followed the guide from @CaseySJs threat.
One...
As I wasn't able to find fitting information via the search function:
I have a Gigabyte z390m gaming, with the GPU blocking all but one PCIe slot. As I want to use the last PCIe slot for a TB3 add in card, I'm asking myself if its possible to add myBCM943602CS via a adapter to one of the m2...
By the way, anybody here, with the same board, a full size GPU (taking up 3 slots), a titan ridge add in card and working WIFI + BT?
I just realised that I only have one PCIe slot left but still want to have TB3 and wifi-BT. Thinking about trying to cram a flexible PCIe cable into the slot...
I solved this by adding -no_compat_check to my boot arguments. Then I updated to 10.14.4, selected IMac 18,3, took the argument out of the boot again, and everything works now.
Thanks, I got past this issue by using the Boot argument. Then I tried out the 18,3 IMac and was able to get around the issue without -no_compat_check.
@P1LGRIM
I followed this Guide, but still the same issue.
As I am really new to this, can anybody walk me through this? Where do I tackle this issue? Is CloverConfigurator the right place?
I'm guessing it has to do with the SMBIOS page, but I'm pretty overwhelmed by options.
