    OS X 10.11.4 Update

It looks like you're using OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi. You can probably do 1 of 2 things: 1. Change the RtVariables->CsrActiveConfig=0x67 in your config.plist file - see if that works for you. 2. Delete OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi in your EFI partition, and replace it with OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi...

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

I ran into the same issue. I'd really like to find a way to go back to using CsrActiveConfig=0x3 with OsxApitoFixDrv-64.efi. However, you might be able to get away with just CsrActiveConfig=0x43 (just UNTRUSTED_KEXTS, UNRESTRICTED_FS, and UNRESTRICTED_NVRAN) for some systems. (At least for...

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

Not by choice - it simply doesn't work for some systems. I can verify at least on my system that OsxAptioFix2Drv is completely unstable with only 1 out of every 5 or 6 boots being successful (even with CsrActiveConfig=0x67.) I would also prefer SIP to be on as well, but with it off it seems...

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

FWIW, I was able to get this working as well, but I did encounter some crashes during boot from time to time. If it's working for you, then great - keep what you have. I had to go to the 128mb version and then the crashes finally went away for me.

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

Okay, if I'm mistaken then I stand corrected. The reason I didn't say fully was because KERNEL_DEBUGGER and APPLE_INTERNA is not set with 0x67.

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

That's what CsrActiveConfig=0x67 sets. It's in the RtVariable section of your config.plist. This will partially disable SIP (System Integrity Protection) when booting OS X El Capitan.

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

I realize that after reading through the forum, but it's not working with my particular system (and I'm not alone.)

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

+1 on needing both 128mb OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi plus the CsrActiveConfig=0x67 for my system (with 0x3 it won't boot at all.) While I can get it to boot on the normal 96mb OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi (with 0x67 setting), I'm seeing ACPI related crashes (actual system panics) every so often during boot...

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

You need both the OsxApitoFixDrv 128mb version + CsrActiveConfig=0x67 (UNTRUSTED_KEXTS + UNRESTRICTED_FS + TASK_FOR_PID + UNRESTRICTED_DTRACE + UNRESTRICTED_NVRAM) to be set. It should work. However, I haven't done enough testing to say how "stable" it is yet. Good luck.

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

Do you have CsrActiveConfig=0x67 in your RtVariables section? At least with that setting and OsxAptioFix2Drv, I can usually boot 80-90% of the time. With my previous setting of CsrActiveConfig=0x3 (UNTRUSTED_KEXTS + UNRESTRICTED_FS), I could only get it to boot maybe 20% of the time. I'm...

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

While the CsrActiveConfig=0x67 minimizes the problem for me (much higher chance of booting), it doesn't completely eliminate it. I will try the 128mb option next.

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

Thanks.. I assume you're using native Intel Graphics as well? I may try pulling my GTX 770 card next to see if it will make a difference.

    OS X 10.11.4 Update

I'm still trying to research the problem but have not figured out a fix. At this point, I'm wondering if trying to fix the issue with OsxApitoFixDrv (some people do have it working with 10.11.4) might be easier than continuing to use OsxApitoFix2Drv. It's just too unstable trying to get the...

    Help with 10.11.4!! x99 system

I'm seeing a similar issue with my Z97 based system where only 1/5 or 1/6 posts the system will boot normally. I suspect it's timing related, but I'm seeing the same error as you (error allocating pages..) I've tried every possible boot option and makes no difference (other than creating more...

    10.11.4 OsxAptioFix still doesn't work

What's the error you're seeing? Please post more details. I'm running into a similar issue where neither OsxApitoFix works with my particular setup. However, every 1/5 or 1/6 times I can get the system to boot (and it's completely stable once I get past the clover post issue.) I'm seeing an...
