Since only the three red USB 3.2 ports are not working, I might just leave it like it is now...

A bit embarassing, but I am not able to download the Catalina OS via the App Store or elsewhere. I do have a Mac (original) running 10.15.5).
Does anybody have a hint?

I have a similar setup. It was working fine until I tried to install a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 680. After installing the graphic card, I the monitor was not staying black. It didn't matter whether I connected the display via VGA or MiniDisplayport of the mainboard or via HDMI/DP on the graphic...
Hello everybody.
Looking into the same - an upgrade from Mountain Lion to Sierra. Would be very interested to do a direct update for not having to install all software once again
But also very interested on tips how to do a clean install.
