    Was tested on mac, never had windows on it , was bang on advertised speeds. trim is enabled but i will try the other settings you mentioned so thanks for that. i cant update to Mojave yet due to software support issues also i dont use APFS.

    Following this guide to the word (besides different memory). I found I had to use the Lilu and whatevergreen kexts, for the RX580 to be recognized properly, and I have 3 screens working and sound coming through HDMI, , DP etc. Not sure why its not in the guide. Name of the card also now shows up...

    Hi, so suddenly when i restart my 3rd screen doesnt come on, its on the HDMI output, what is weird that after a couple of restarts it did , do i need the lilu kext or something, as i dont seem to have it in my EFI folder?

    i downloaded it onto a usb stick, and used the bios to update it. took 2 min

    i had with 8.2 " The recovery server could not be contacted" then i somehow managed to get through this, i had The path /System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg appears to be missing or damaged. moved to 8.1 and had none of that

    had exactly same issues as yours, i thought the RX580 works straight OTB. also i used unibeast 8.1 to get through the installation. as couldnt get it to work with 8.2

    Yeah, using the UniBeast USB installer, would just not boot. So, I found online a guide for this mobo which the EFI was available. I just copied it over the USB installer, and it booted, Really weird, I would still love to know why it wouldn't boot with the UniBeast installer.
