I'm having issues trying to update from Mojave to Catalina let alone Big Sur!
How did you manage to??
By doing a native 'vanilla' update to Catalina it just black screens and I boot to my alt ssd with CCC...
Any advice?
Hey guys, I’m running in to an issue trying to swap out the main board and cpu.
move got a fully bootable hackintosh in my z390 build
(Asus Tuf Z-390 gaming plus wifi)
i7-9700k
32GB (4x 8gb Corsair 3200mhz)
Samsung NVME 970 plus 256gb
and I’ve upgraded to a
Gigabyte UD AC
i5-10600k
everything...
Currently installed using this method for High Sierra.
I tried to update to Catalina through the App Store, and it broke.
Did have a CCC Backup so now currently copying it back over to Main Drive.
Is it possible for me to update to Catalina? How so as I’m using current setup with ASUS TUF...
I’m currently in the process of trying to utilise 2 graphics cards without having to pull one out and boot.
Currently set up with an Nvidia 1080ti and an Rx580.
I want to be able to run the 1080ti on Windows only and on Mac OS X I want to be able to run the Rx580.

UPDATE: Have successfully installed High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G66) updated to (17G11023) (Latest Nvidia Driver)
To fix the boot without using usb problem, I mounted the installer's EFI partition and copied it over to the Main drive I have High Sierra Installed.

Currently trying to find Nvidia drivers for the Mac build (10.13.6 - 17G66)
also, I currentlycan only boot into Mac using USB.
have tried using multibeast for UFEI mode.

Hey! For the past couple of days I’ve successfully managed to run the Unibeast installer to install MacOS. Although I’m having trouble trying to continue on from the first boost. I’ve managed to get to “2 minutes remaining” and then it to have reboot the system.
