Hey! I'm having issues trying to update from Mojave to Catalina let alone Big Sur! How did you manage to?? By doing a native 'vanilla' update to Catalina it just black screens and I boot to my alt ssd with CCC... Any advice?

I’m currently on Mojave but I wouldn’t mind getting on to Big Sur

Will I be needing to use a hackintosh or Mac for any of it?

UPDATE: Have successfully installed High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G66) updated to (17G11023) (Latest Nvidia Driver) To fix the boot without using usb problem, I mounted the installer's EFI partition and copied it over to the Main drive I have High Sierra Installed.
