    Ah, gotcha. SSDT removed, config options set as you mentioned, still booting and still have proper p states. Looks like this issue is solved, and much more seamlessly now. Thanks again! edit: oops, didn't mean to double post. apologies!

    PluginType=Yes and KernelXCPM=Yes with generated SSDT (no Ivy Bridge work around arguments needed during generation) worked like a charm! Proper amount of states confirmed with AppleIntelInfo.kext. Thanks, trs96!

    10.14.3, as mentioned. Edit: Initial install was 10.14.1. Updated to 10.14.2 and then .3 from Software Update with no hitches. Generated SSDT caused the hang in all 3 versions.
