[SOLVED] I messed up my golden installation...please help

Thanks. Full backup was the next thing on my list. ;) Somehow, I fixed it anyway. I made a new OSX installation overwriting the old one and found almost everything intact afterwards. Users, programs, etc. I fixed my shutdown problem with another option in clover ("fix shutdown" rather than...

Hackintosh freezes at beginning of progress bar (Clover -> Sierra)

You can select these boot options right in the clover start menu. Start trying the two usb options. Those might be enough already.

[SOLVED] I messed up my golden installation...please help

Hi there, I had everything working, except some minor problems with wake/sleep. I tried to fix them by adding darkwake=0 to my config.plist via clover configurator. After restarting, my system now keeps rebooting just after showing off the Apple logo for approx. 2 seconds. I tried lots of...

    /System/Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA.kext not present

Hi there, as my Hackintosh is almost perfectly working, I still have one unsolved problem with the audio under Mac OS Sierra. I installed the Voodoo drivers as mentioned in lots of threads, and yes, audio is working. But I still have to set the gain to 0 after each boot to avoid the noise...

Hackintosh freezes at beginning of progress bar (Clover -> Sierra)

You're welcome! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to try all the promising approaches I read here about yet. Thus I am still experiencing problems with USB support after Multibeast, no LAN, no audio and a not properly initializing NVIDIA driver. But I guess that all can be solved. In deed, I...

Having problems with graphics card Gigabyte GeForce NVIDIA GTX 960 WF2OC 4 GB - any clues?

Hi there, after reinstalling my graphics card Gigabyte GeForce NVIDIA GTX 960 WF2OC 4 GB since it didn't cause the problems I had, I am experiencing a slightly streched screen resolution. And I can't change it. I downloaded the NVIDIA alternate drivers für MacOS Sierra. The installation...

Yes, there should be the small OS X menu bar at the top.

Hackintosh freezes at beginning of progress bar (Clover -> Sierra)

I mean the one built in OS X. You will get access to it once you reach the part where you need to select where to install the OS.

Hackintosh freezes at beginning of progress bar (Clover -> Sierra)

If the SSD is brand new, you need to create a partition first in order for it to be seen on the installation screen. Start the disc utility (from the main menu on the top), select the SSD (that should be shown there) and delete/create a partition "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". That should work...

After Installation and Running MultiBeast, I Lost USB 3 and Network

Experienced something similar yesterday. After installation of Sierra, the USB ports are working. After running MultiBeast, I lose USB support and yet audio and network are not running, although I selected the right hardware. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Hackintosh freezes at beginning of progress bar (Clover -> Sierra)

Yep. Yesterday I narrowed it down to the both USB options. With those set it always works.
