My laptop (Razer Blade 15, 2020) with ALC298 has no sound through the speakers. Headphones work fine. Mic as well. I tried all alcids (3, 11, 13, 21, 22, 28, 29, 30, 32, 47, 66, 72, 99) with no success. Big Sur 11.12, OC 0.6.4 Any ideas what I could try to get it to work?

I enabled the iGPU and can boot up to the moment when the GUI loads, then the screen goes black and the monitor goes into sleep. The system is fully loaded and working though. (Z390 Aorus Ultra motherboard)

I used to have a XT 5700 in my system but now got an Nvidia card. I'd like to use the CPU graphics of the 9900K for time being. What changes do I need to do to make this work?

I'm having trouble with the App Store on my Catalina with Opencore install. When wanting to update and app, it might ask me for my password, then the spinning wheel appears for a few seconds, and then the button goes back to "update". Likewise if I want to make a purchase, even with free things...

I had the original SSD from my Razer Blade Stealth, which I installed in my RB15, and with that the menus were showing up in BIOS, luckily and bizarrely. Everything else would have been very difficult, if not impossible, I think.

That seems to be exactly the problem I have. I succesfully flashed the altered BIOS, but the options don't show up. I swapped the original SSD for a bigger one and sold the old one. What now? Am I f'ed?

I actually had only changed the second one, but I now chaged the first one, so both System Agent (SA) Config now read USER. I have this confirmed by dumping the BIOS. I also changed the DVMT directly in that BIOS dump to 64MB and uploaded it, but it didn't make a difference. It's like nothing...
