some problems with firewire soundcards might be because of the firewire chip in use. i had severe problems with my presonus firebox until i bought a new firewire card (with texas instruments chipset) on it. solved my problems atleast.

Article: OS X 10.8.2 Update updated my gigabyte up5 th with the combo updater. no sound but its fixed by applying the multi beast patch. otherwise no problems noticed yet. enabled trim support and its working as it should.

should one run multibeast after the update (with all the previous settings applied)?
