Okay @sameerasw,
I had a look at your posted EFI...and it seems you had simply not used the 12.3 EFI I had posted at the beginning. This is why it wasn't booting because you were missing key kexts as well as required ACPI file settings etc.
I post it here below for you again, updated to OC...
@Crishbk,
The EFI was originally set for RX6600. You need to change the PCI device and boot-arg details to the following for RX580 to work (remove any agdpmod settings and add npci=0x2000):
Luckily I have already done this for your EFI. Give it a shot.
Try also swapping out the battery. It's possible that it is out of juice and when the BIOS crash occurred it doesn't have enough power to reset the system.
@supernova777,
In order to have the RAID card work, it needs to be on the driver list of working macOS versions. Unfortunately your 620 may be too old and I'm not sure what Highpoint macOS driver support is like in general.
I have an Areca ARC-1680 card and I have it working with an Areca...
@rkpz81,
Yes sure, they can be found here on the first post > https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-oc-10-13-6-z490-gigabyte-aorus-xtreme-core-i5-10400-i9-11900k-nvidia-gtx-1060.310287/
Yes I gather. Am using a Gigabyte RX6800 with the setup. I’d had it for a while, hadn’t posted the build because there was plenty available here. :)
What strikes me is that it was working fine for the last year and a half and now is suddenly throwing up issues in the last month. I'd also...
Okay folks I have a question for you. My 12th gen 12900K Asus Z690 Prime P-D4 system at work seems to be crashing much with Photoshop of late. Does anyone know what advice can be given to mitigate this? Has anyone had any success on Photoshop CC with Ventura or Sonoma? The system as it goes is...
@BigTedLikesTacos,
It will actually work if you use WhateverGreen but instead spoof the PCI device-id of the RX6600XT in the config. The details can be found in my build under Gigabyte Z590I Vision D.
@moheban79
Don’t give up just yet. It just came to mind - a while back you mentioned your SMBIOS was set to iMac? I don’t think that’s correct - it should be MacPro if you want to get it working.
FYI I have a Highpoint RAID card installed in my Z690 build that I use with an Areca 8-bay drive...
Yes I have had too! It was an assortment of items. A fake MacBook Pro charger, fake MacBook Air screen and replacement batteries. Despite the slightly different wording they surprisingly all worked.
It sounds like it's either to do with your S3 Sleep settings in BIOS, or that your USB device map isn't properly set up, hence it causes the fans to spin at sleep. Also you may need need to take a look at Whatevergreen darkwake settings in the boot-arg.
