I have updated mine (Cubi i-3) to Sierra using the direct update guide:

So far my Cubi is running fine except for the hd5500 video 15mb vram issue. I updated to Sierra hopping it would fix my HD5500 video issue...
My source comes from a developer who makes and sells software in apples app store. I'll see if I can get the "Print" of the information.
There is also this from the article: "At this point in time, you can still easily install applications outside of the Mac App Store, but the fear (and, let's...
OSX 10.8 is going to drop support for 32 bit kernel extensions, so anyone running hardware that requires 32 support like the intel x3100 chip won't be able to run Mountain Lion.
While it is true that there is a setting you can tick in to allow to install software outside of the app store in 10.8, it has been speculated that the choice will be eliminated in 10.9 or 11.0.
The good thing about our Hackintosh's is that it won't be hard to move to Linux if OSX gets to be...

I don't think so unless you can find a really good deal on a used quad 775. New 775 quad's are selling for around the same price as i5's. Add about another $180 for a board and 8gig's DDR3 and you will have a machine that will run circles around any quad 775 machine. Plus if you have 4gigs or...
I just bought that same board at Fry's for a Q6600 I had sitting in my closet that has never been opened. Anyways what changes did you make to your bios to get a boot disk to work?
