Just upgraded my Everything Works Build to 10.14.5 without any issues.
When system reboots select the installer OSX entry and let it run through... after the next reboot the installer entry is gone and system reboots normally...

Great guide... I do have an issue though: I am stuck on the install Mojave step. After selecting the install option the Apple logo takes a while to appear and the progress bar is extremely slow and never finishes.

yes that worked for me too. select the boot drive in your bios via F12 makes the USB option show up on the left - first option. It installed without problem at that point. Thanks for the pointers!
