I am running El Capitan on 2 laptops and 1 desktop computer. Everything works on all computers.
Dell Optiplex 755 with Nvidia GT 520 video card.
Dell Latitude E6330 with i7 3540 and Atheros AR9280 wireless. Used Rehabmans Bluetooth kexts.
HP Probook 6570b with Atheros AR9280 wireless. Used...
I think I have the same problem. I upgraded to Clover at the same time that I moved to Yosemite.
Upon installing 10.10.3, I had no sound and no USB 3.0. I used Rehabmans Generic USB and I used VoodooHDA 2.7.3 from Multibeast to get sound working.
So, everything is working but I think...
I have an HP Probook 6570B with HD4000 graphics. I have no audio and no USB 3.
Anyone got any ideas on where I can go next?
I tried the newest Probook installer, resetting permissions, booting without kext caches and then re-creating the cache.
Nothing is working. The other updates went...
I have a Probook 6570B with a docking station. This fix worked for me as well. Much thanks Albarian. :) I simply downloaded it from Rehabmans downloads, installed it using Kext Wizard, rebuilt permissions and rebuilt cache. I did not reboot between steps. It worked fine. The issue was so bad...
Ok, after undocking it and letting it go in to stand by then taking it out of standby, I got the screen back again.
Everything is working now like it did before.
Man o man, these setups are sensitive!
Now, the screen goes black when it gets to the desktop. I can see the desktop just fine when I dock it. But, I see nothing when It is not docked. It shows everything up until the point that it tries to paint the desktop.
Greetings!
I have a Probook 6570b i5/16 gigs ram/HD 4000 and Mavericks 10.9.2. Everything was working perfect with Chameleon and a patched DSDT.aml.
Earlier today, I installed a Microsoft Comfort 5000 keyboard/wireless mouse. It seemed to work fine. But, later in the day, I removed the laptop...
Greetings again!
I decided to try to install OS X on my mother's old Compaq CQ56-219WM.
My last issue is the video. The laptop shows graphics as GMA X3100 graphics at 64mb of ram.
When I install the 10.9.2 update, the graphics only shows 3mb of ram.
This occurs whether or not I update...
I just wanted to report that I bought a second Probook with Hd 4000 graphics. Everything is up and running. I even have the video working on a Sony 32" TV. Working fine with the display port to vga.
No options in bios to switch graphics. Looks like the only way to switch back and forth is through the catalyst control center which is a windows only utility. I never thought that I would not be able to switch back and forth in the bios. This project has humbled me over and over again.
Wow...
It is definitely on the board itself. It has 2 GPU's. An Intel and an AMD.
I am going to image it quickly in Windows 8 so that I can update the bios on the new board.
Then, I am going to see what options I have in the bios.
