[HOW TO] Windows entry after macOS in the OpenCore menu

I also have a problem with Windows Icon. I have tried many things but the only thing that is displayed is HardDrive.icns and not the Windows.icns. Windows SSD is not displayed without an entry in Entries. Windows SSD has the name Untiteld. Is there anything to consider so that OpenCore displays...

    macOS 14.1.1 Update

I was interested in how to get the small updates again, and how best to install the updates if you have the WiFi patch. 1. Update OCLP https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/releases/tag/1.2.0 2. Start the Sonoma update with the SecureBootModel=Default (it is better to set the...

Did you remove the WIFI patch before the update? No, you don't need it!

    macOS 14.1 Update

MacOS Sonoma 14.1 doesn't need these things. You can delete the parts.

Buying a Dedicated GPU for your Monterey, Ventura or Sonoma Hackintosh

I decided on RX 5700. The price is very good at the moment. It cost 112.50 EURO including shipping. Sure is used and it takes time to find one that isn't junk. If I had PCIe 4.0 I would have taken RX 6600 XT.

Buying a Dedicated GPU for your Monterey, Ventura or Sonoma Hackintosh

I just looked. You can get the RX 5700 for a little more than 1/2 the price of a used RX 6600 XT. The only problem is finding a good copy. Because there is no warranty anymore and if it were to break, it would be annoying. The PowerColor RX 5700 Red Devil is good because it's quiet. Power...

Buying a Dedicated GPU for your Monterey, Ventura or Sonoma Hackintosh

@Edhawk Well, I don't want an expensive card, it's a home computer. I don't work on it every day, but it happens. And I don't want an electricity glutton. Currently, I just favor the RX 5700 without the XT. Unfortunately used.

Buying a Dedicated GPU for your Monterey, Ventura or Sonoma Hackintosh

On various forums I asked about experiences with this card on games and programs like Final Cut Pro, Illustrator. As for games, it would be OK, but for the applications I asked about, this card is unlikely to bring anything, and many replied that it was not suitable. I am also not very...

Buying a Dedicated GPU for your Monterey, Ventura or Sonoma Hackintosh

@VioletDragon I have a SAPPHIRE RADEON RX 570 NITRO+, over 3 years old. It hangs slightly crooked, but it doesn't cause problems. I was considering the RX 6600 XT, but decided against it. Just too many restrictions. PCI x8, 128 bits.

I had a similar problem under Windows, artifacts then reboot. But then I was messing with undervolting. After setting the silent BIOS and resetting to factory settings, the problem never appeared.
