Solution here if you don't want to change the smbios https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/itunes-crashing-mojave-macos-10-14-5-itunes-v12-9-5.277304/page-2
So according to the crash report, it's pretty clear that AppleGVA is the culprit if I scroll down to the actual crash:

I think I figured it out! No iTunes crashes so far - preview and quicklook for jpegs also seems to be working fine since this does not affect AppleVPA.framework... Basically instead of changing the SMBios, we just need to tell AppleGVA.framework to use a different board-id (in this case the...
No, it won't boot 10.14.5 at all unless I disable that patch. Seems like it affects the CPU frequency scaling, but I'm using PmDrvr.kext so I didn't notice the change.
Thanks for the response, I'll give it a try (I'd rather not move to an older version of AptioFix - but if it boots that would at least tell me whether or not that's the issue). May need to contact the developer about updating AptioMemoryFix. I suspect we will see a few more people with the same...
I'm stuck here as well on my X99 build. Usually a hang here would indicate a memory mapping error, but AptioMemoryFix has been working fine for me in 10.14.4 and earlier. For whatever it's worth, I tried completing the update from my Macbook, but the drive still hangs in the same spot even after...
Is anyone else having trouble getting decent benchmark performance (and as a result, I am assuming real-world performance)? I have an EVGA X99 Classified and a 5960X running Clover. Running 100 MHz BCLK and x43 multiplier, I was only able to get geekbench scores of around 3700 single/ 25000...
are you using genericusbxhci? if not you will get much worse performance because of xhci interrupts. You can also disable USB3 which will get rid of that as well. check your gb and make sure it's up to par too. From my understanding PT, logic and other multithreaded apps are working great for most.
Try IOBluetoothFamily from 10.9.5 and maybe IOBluetoothHIDDriver as well. If that doesn't work you could delete IOBluetoothFamily entirely, assuming you don't need bluetooth. A few X99-A owners have had problems with that kext. That board doesn't have built-in bluetooth does it?
Cool, hopefully you can work it out. I plan on doing an X99 come tax refund season and I use Clover exclusively. I would hate to have to sacrifice performance because of that.
