I'm using opencore with ig-platform-id 0x19120000 now, resulting really stable graphics preformance except no HEVC support. When the id is set to normal kabylake id like 0x59120000 or 0x59160000, occasional black screen will come back.
Hi, here is the oc folder based on my build (110+i5 7600T+bcm 943602cs), which supports Catalina 10.15.6 and most system features work. SMIBIOS need to be generated again, hope it helps.
Yes, I have succeeded in installing Catalina 10.15.2 on Deskmini 110 using both Clover and OpenCore, but I haven't tested it on HDMI port since I'm using a 4k monitor and it works on DP port now, and the EFI folder without SMBIOS information is attached below.
What's more, It's surprising that...
Hey guys
I have make a clover build to boot Catalina on Deskmini 110, and another method.
However, my post yesterday was deleted, I don't know why:banghead:
Hi all.
I have made Catalina run on a Deskmini 110 build successfully, which is an ITX with ASRock H110M-STX motherboard and i5 7600T cpu. However, when I'm using the Intel framebuffer config following this guide, the system could boot but with random black out unless I change it to a 0x19120000...
Is the "inject" method you mentioned AAPL,ig-platform-id in Device/properties/PciRoot? In the framebuffer patching method tutorial, it's suggested to do like that.
In the tutorial, Gen6 (Skylake) CPU with HD 5XX should work with a AAPL,ig-platform-id: 0x19120000 (default). And in previous post...
If you have working files on 1080P now, maybe you could try to edit the config.plist only with my files as reference, and other files such as clover and SSDT remain the same. By the way, are you using a DisplayPort cable to get 4k 60Hz ? Have you ever used the framebuffer patching methods?
I...
It seems that the USB ports don't work properly. I haven't met the same issue and maybe you could check whether the USBInjectAll.kext works in Hackintool.
In my memory, freezing occurred even when I was using it normally for example editing Word documents, and it can't come back to the usable state after 30 seconds. But this thread is still useful, which provides a possible solution and I'll check the fixing in case it freezes again.
Thanks for...
I'm running a Deskmini 110/COM, I guess there is no big difference. The random freezing is a strange issue since no exact error logs can be found, I was using a regular Kingston SSD without nvme drive but it still occured.
What helps me resolve this issue is reinstalling and reconfiging from...
