I think I accidentally removed it without knowing

[solved] macOS could not be installed on your computer

Nevermind, it seems to have gone away after adding "change GFX0 to IGPU" to the patches (I think that fixed it; from 4MB to 1536 MB)

[solved] macOS could not be installed on your computer

@RehabMan I've installed macOS using another method. However, I still have to use an invalid ig-platform-id. Will that affect the boot if I change the timeout to 0? Please let me know if you need my clover.zip file Thanks for your help

It was a last resort solution, sorry. I'll look for a better way to do it

[solved] macOS could not be installed on your computer

Tried that as well Downloaded from my friend's MacBook. Used that to build a vm, I know the guide said not to do so, but they didn't want to keep their laptop at my place over the weekend (cause of college work) and I've seen some success stories about using that method so I thought I'd test...

[solved] macOS could not be installed on your computer

Yes, unless that's not how you do it. Tried it this way and tried just erasing. Also tried partitioning it back to 1TB, still gave me an error. The last error on the installer log is "The Quartz framework's library couldn't be loaded from ...."

[solved] macOS could not be installed on your computer

Welp, that was short lived.. Now the second part of the installation gives me an error (step 7 on post #2) https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/ The same issue I started with

Same issue (on the surface) Note: I installed clover on my USB using the GPT method, not the MBR method

[solved] macOS could not be installed on your computer

I still can't access the install process (while using clover r4674), I'll try remaking the USB again using clover r4658 this time. Do you think installing Linux (to format the disk) then reinstalling macOS will help in any way?

[solved] macOS could not be installed on your computer

@RehabMan Hey, I changed the USB boot drive and edited the CLOVER file (added the kexts and .efi files), I also used the correct config.plist (I hope) Used config_HD5300_5500_6000.plist instead of config_HD550_P530.plist (renamed it to config.plist) It still reboots after the apple logo, but...

[solved] macOS could not be installed on your computer

[solved] macOS could not be installed on your computer

I remade the boot drive, that's why the config.plist is wrong (Not sure of the on on the first post is more fitting) I didn't edit any of the kexts, maybe that's why I'll do it again. Thanks
