The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

I'm not sure there is a fix for that, its typical to have the fans spin way up on boot and then after a couple seconds spin down. I'm sure I've had GPUs do it coming out of sleep but its been awhile and I don't recall what OS I was using at the time. Do you have Windows or Linux installed? If so...

    [Success] - Asus ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming + i9 10900K + OpenCore

I had a similar cpu cooler from corsair which had a USB connection so it talk to the software. I couldn't get my system to be able to sleep until I unplugged that.

The default setting which is what you are suggesting, if I remember correctly.

Just curious what this setting does, searched through the Dortania install guide for Comet Lake, checked File Vault settings and Sleep trouble shooting comments but couldn’t find mention of it. “For Big Sur changed NVRAM “cur-active-config” to: FF0F0000 (per Opencore Guide)” I fixed sleep on...

That's cosmetic and won't change how your system performs. If you have used iMac 18,3 before it should also work with OpenCore even though it is not the recommended SYMBIOS. I use Macmini8,1 on my NUC8 which is also not the developer recommendation but closest to my hardware and it works perfectly

According to the developers of OpenCore with your setup and using Mojave or newer iMac19,1 is recommended. See the Dortania Install Guide Under Coffee Lake for more information. See attachment screen grab from there.

I'm sure @blackberry4311 will chime in with something helpful. Beside changing the GPU selection in the bios and removing the agdpmod=pikera from the NVRAM/Add section of the config.plist (to enable your 5700XT Card) are you aware the Device ID needs to be changed? See attached below for the two...

I'm on my phone but this a different platform so it would be best to search the forum or Google for your specific motherboard. Too many differences between Z490 Comet Lake and Z390 Coffee Lake to be looking for help here. Since you are using PastryChefs EFI folder did you post is his thread?

No access to a real Mac I'd guess? If you are trying to do this from Windows I'd try the Dortania Install guide

So for any kind of feedback without just guessing you kind of need to be more specific. Your signature is out of date or it lists another system. What Motherboard are you using, what graphics configuration, iGPU, dGPU? If dGPU what card? Outside of hardware questions what boot loader and OS...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Hmmm, I don’t have an Apple TV or an Air Play enabled TV (I don’t think, I have a Samsung TV and it not showing in the Airplay Menu) so I can’t check this out. If Big Sur works via your iMac then it’s not the OS. Edit: there are reports of Big Sur breaking Airplay but there are also fixes some...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Please explain more what devices you were using then and how. I have never used either and Apple talks mostly about wireless with AirPlay. See this thread relating to AirPlay, seems like its reliant on having an Apple native card...
