1. I tried re-creating the USB drive using unibeast but I still get the same error.
2. I tried removing my 1070 from the system but I still get the same error.
3. I tried changing the SMBIOS to iMac 15,1 instead of the default 14,2 but I still get the same error.
4. I've tried with...
I updated to the latest version of Clover Configurator and when I opened my config.plist file it already had that option checked off. I toggled the checkbox again just to make sure and saved the plist file but the error still happens.
I attached another photo. If I let the system sit there, the...
Thank you, I tried to make those changes but my Clover configurator looks different than yours. I tried these settings (see screenshots) instead but the issue was unchanged. Ideas?
Attached is the Clover folder from the Sierra Install USB I am attempting to boot from. I think it should be fairly standard but perhaps there's something wrong with it. I don't see anything in the ACPI folders for example... Should Unibeast place anything there? This same USB drive worked on a...
I am using a Sierra USB installer which worked on a recent Skylake build and tried to use it to attempt an upgrade my Haswell 4790K system from Yosemite in order to use my new 1070 GPU but am using the integrated graphics for purposes of installing. In preparation, I updated Clover to the latest...
Frankly the way things are going, it's their whole Macintosh ecosystem that feels like it's being forced into obsolescence. The main reason I got into Hackintosh in the first place is that Apple is no longer producing systems that meet my needs or can be modified to fit my needs. This ought to...
You're probably right. Actions do tend to speak louder than words.

I agree, but it does seem to explain nicely some of the things we've been seeing. And since Apple is on a slim form factor kick for a while now, I would think NVIDIA would better fit their needs as the lower power draw and heat specs do favor them. AMD is providing some stiff competition at the...
I'm just going to indulge in some wild speculation here... what if NVIDIA wasn't releasing drivers at Apple's request due to a deal to put Pascal in upcoming desktops? Apple surely wouldn't want us in the Hackintosh community getting that pascal goodness first, right? It may also explain that...
So, OSX was updated using security update 2016-005 and am now at build 14f1912. I checked before hand and Apple's website claims it was released on Sept 1st so I figured it's been enough time and Nvidia would have an updated driver.
I updated my NVIDIA drivers to the latest: 346.02.03f09.
The...
I can confirm as that's how I'm currently running. Two monitors, one plugged into iGPU and one into a 1070. I set the iGPU as the default in bios and that monitor is active in MacOS and both monitors are active in windows.
What works for me is to enter the following into the Clover boot options: "npci=0x2000 nv_disable=1"
This allows me to get a system to boot that isn't otherwise booting with working Nvidia drivers until I can get working drivers.
I always check this forum. It can take a day or so before...
