I have enabled screen sharing on the hack. I then go into my Mac on the same wireless network, find the hack within network on finder and attach to it for screen sharing. It displays perfectly in the expected 1080p resolution.
On the actual monitor, connected via HDMI cable, I get the garbled...
Thank you!
I realised with your prompting that the problem originated by the arguments provided by the Clover bootloader setup I have so I am getting rid of those (how do I avoid having the stop it doing Intel Inject FakeId every time - there must a config file for the bootloader somewhere?)...
Ah! Would that explain why I have now managed to get to Intel HD 4000 showing with a sensible amount of memory in the systems definition, 1080p resolution, the monitor being correctly recognised by the OS and the various scaling options for the display...
...but only when I connect remotely...
Can you help please?
Before I can use Hackintool to set frame buffer correctly, I need to get my Intel HD4000 set up right. As you can see from the attached it is not. There is SO much info out there (including here) on this topic and adjacent ones that I am confused!
Looks like none of my...
Hi VZvl
I’m trying to get up and running again after a number of years away. Although your build used an Nvidia card, and in the preamble you talk about this being about how to do HD4000+Nvidia, it looks like you’ve changed to an AMD architecture card?
Am I right in thinking that to go beyond...
Update: after tearing what's left of my hair out, I have a better behaving monitor. I plugged an HDMI (at the box end, into the Mobo HDMI) to mini DP (into a BENQ BL2710) and the above problem is gone. Now I will crack on with the approach here.

Thank you. I am re-animating << Fractal Thunder >>. I will report back.
When you say TB3>2 on Mac Pro... is that in order to run TB Display or storage etc?
I want to have cold boot seamless ability to use my dual A1407 Thunderbolt displays. Can you describe your set up please? Are you using a thunderbolt 2 connector or thunderbolt 3?
This right here seems to be perhaps the leading edge of Gigabyte / Thunderbolt hackintoshing?
May I ask if anyone understands why the people at OpenCore don't like Gigabyte motherboards when from my original build here in 2013, Gigabyte has seemed to be, if anything, the preferred route?
Or am...
Hello Stork - I think it was your build that I followed in 2013! Glad to see you're here.
It got as far Yosemite for sure but I don't think it went to El Capitan.
I have iPhone/iPad in iOS. And 13" early 2015 Macbook Pro (Thunderbolt 2) for moving around the house and 12" early 2015 MacBook...
I am considering what to do with my 2013 built Z77X UD5 TH / i3770K which was made using the wonderful resources and knowledge of the people on the splendid site. Alas I have not even switched on the machine since 2016.
I realize the hardware is now quite outdated. There may also be...
