Hello, stuck here and I've run in circles and had no luck so it's time to call in the big guns, let me know if I've posted this in the wrong place...
Just did a vanilla install on a new drive from sierra to high sierra, migrated essential files and upgraded from a 1060 to a sapphire rx 580...
I need to update to High Sierra to have be able to view and edit HEIC files since my older video card won't work with Mojave. I'm currently on 10.12.5.
With these system specs will I be able to successfully run High Sierra?

After more than a year of successfully operation, this morning my computer started freezing on the Apple logo. I booted in verbose mode and got the info in the attached screenshot. I haven't made any changes to the software or installed new apps, the only thing is the boot drive may be maxed...
Still waiting on any suggestions here, but in the meantime I got my audio to work by injecting the correct kexts for my motherboard, so that's good.
Once the PCI issues are resolved, this will be a 100% successful build!
Hi all, I'm trying to get my Blackmagic DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K working but my system information doesn't see any PCI devices:
"This computer doesn't contain any PCI cards or devices."
I've searched the forums and haven't found anything that applies to getting this card to work. I don't see...
@BreBo you were right, changed it to 64mb.
@pilgrim1944 booting with the graphics card did the trick!
Followed the Solving NVIDIA Driver Install & Loading Problems guide, had to install RC scripts on target volume and now the card is showing up in the Nvidia device manager and looking good...
