    Problem with Caps Lock Button

There are a couple of options out there until Apple gets around to this: 1.) Use a keyboard that reports itself to the system profiler as an Apple built keyboard (or use an actual Apple built keyboard). Note: the problem does not occur for all non Apple built keyboards, but most of the reports...

Preview not working in OSX Mojave 10.14

I am glad to hear that this is working for you and others. :) I think after mucking around with this for some time, the best approach, where it is feasible!, is to use the weg plus headless igpu approach, but only if that approach is feasible for your system. Going that route gives me slightly...

Mojave 10.14.5 Has Purple Lines Durning Boot - Is There A Fix?

I, like many others, have seen this throughout the various beta releases for 10.14.5. It seems to only show up during the boot sequence, it does not affect the regular operation.

    macOS 10.14.5 Update

Open up System Preferences and click on the Displays button. You should get a tabbed window with one of the tabs labeled Arrangement. Choose that one and then drag the display window you want to be the main one to the leftmost side. Make sure you drag/put the menu bar on it!

Preview not working in OSX Mojave 10.14

If you can, avoid using TextEdit to muck around in system files. BBEdit or TextWrangler is okay for that. (It is very easy to have an accidental keypress leave an invisible (non-printing) character that wreck the whole file. There is a direct and fairly easy way to use the os system built-in...

[Solved] Updated Clover to 4699 but now cannot boot into Mac

Sounds good. If you go to Clover's SourceForge site you can download other versions as well as the latest, from the 'files' section. You may have better results with v4630 or v4674.

[Solved] Updated Clover to 4699 but now cannot boot into Mac

Clover 4699 rearranged the UEFI drivers in a major way, if you were just doing a normal upgrade it would be easy to miss that some of the things did not get updated as they used to. A lot of drivers are now listed in a separate heading called something like FileVault 2 UEFI. Unibeast, (found on...

    DW1560 M2 Card - Bluetooth Missing ??

Glad to hear it is working. That it works without problems on your Z370N rig is similar to it working without problems on my older Z97N rig, both use dedicated connectors (yours is a M2, mine is a miniPCIe) that handle the USB handoff differently than do the pci slot adapter that connects to...

    DW1560 M2 Card - Bluetooth Missing ??

I am not sure about the dev betas, but for the public beta, this worked for my similar type of card (AzureWave CE123H): Go back to the set up you had working for High Sierra, ie remove the custom SSDT, the USBInjectAll kext, etc. Use Kext Beast or Kext Wizard or whatever app or manually put the...
