No.My notebook is Acer SF313-52.
When I set the resolution to 2256x1504 or HIDPI higher than 1280x853, the screen flashes.
Resolution lower than 2256x1504 without HIDPI works well.
Now I must connect to an external monitor to make HIDPI work on higher resolution.
You can try making your notebook sleep before you login,screen maybe work well after waking up(Not work when I put USBPorts.kext or AirportItlwm.kext into EFI).
Or connect a FHD external monitor before booting.

It mentions this panic and gives a solution:
Set SMBIOS to MacbookAir9,1 and set platform/device id to 01005C8A/5C8A0000. Remove Unifiedmem from config.plist.
