That's exactly what I have in mind, well that or the gigabyte 6870 SuperOverclock edition or the 560 Ti. But I'm 75% leaning towards the Hawk. :)

I considered the 6870 because it's in the recommended CustoMac builds. :think:

Thanks, the 560 Ti option occured to me because I read a post about it being supported in Lion. I'm leaning towards the 6870 but the 560 Ti is worth considering too because of it's processing power.

I found this about the 6950M: I'm not sure if this is good for us. If it's based on the 6850 it might mean, that the they used a modified 6850 kext on the picture. So I guess this is no progress :|
