Thanks, I did install those! I tested by adding a new arbitrary parameter to the nvram and confirmed it persists after even a cold boot. Is there any other test I could run to make sure I installed those properly? I only add it after testing that I can't boot with the new Clover Web Drivers...

Have you tried following the regular guide? I think the BIOS will detect it automatically and you can just select it on the install screen. Although I feel that you want to boot directly from it, as to have your info and files just as you had them before, and I'm afraid that won't be possible.
