At this moment with a Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120Gb and clover trim patch working without issues. However, I keep the backup copy in HFS+... I'm not sure if I'll have any problems or not in the future.

i cannot be at 100% sure but enabling "Power Nap" and "put the hard disk to sleep when possible" seems to fix on my MSI 1070 gaming X, Dell 2515H (via displayport 1.1) and 10.12.6 (clover darkwave=8). The other options disable.

hi! i follow the guide (thanks!) but when i remove port limit patch my ssdt seems not to work despite having only the ports used. i have the _OSI->XOSI (+SSDT_XOSI.aml) fix too. any ideas? (10.12 intel series 9)

If your gpu is via DP check display port version in your monitor config. With 1.2 version is not working (1.1 is fine)

My experience: Issue: after install webdrivers monitor going to sleep at boot (iMac 14,2) GPU: MSI 1070 via display port Solve: set my monitor with Display Port v1.1 (not 1.2) Now working! (an with metal support)
