Update ok so far. X99 Deluxe II with OC 0.8.5.

I am using the EFI of CaseySJ. I downgraded form patched bios 2102, which I had been using before, to patched bios 1802. I've done lots of oc updates with HackinDROM. For me everything (12.5.1) is working fine, including sleep and bluetooth - unless I enable wifi. Doing so will result in reboot...

12.1 update succeeded. In the end an usb hub that was working just fine with 12.0.1 seemed to be causing problems. 2 successful bootups after removal of the hub.

I can confirm this problem. However I am currently using my own config file. Ocvalidate did find some problems with my config, I still need to check. I don‘t think they are causing my update problems, though. It would be interesting to know if someone managed to update.

Problem solved. After all it was an issue with a bios setting. „AI overclock tuner“ cannot be disabled. Auto is wrong though. Setting it to enabled and leaving the other settings that arise default fixed my issues. Sleep kinda works too. At the moment it instantly wakes and manages the next...

Seems to be rather old. Late 2019. i think bios 1901 isn‘t latest bios, too.

@RooteDady: You seem to employ the same mainboard I am using. I got OC 0.6.3 along with Catalina 10.15.7 running just fine on my X99 Deluxe II. But only my usb 3.1 ports work. Do you have more success with usb- and probably bluetooth as well? Could you share your EFI if so?

Ok. Here we go. It still needs quite some tinkering... At the moment I‘ve hardly got any time for that- and if only at night. System Definition is IMac Pro. For me only usb 3.1 ports work. Also the CPU does not throttle down as it seems..

I got the Deluxe II running Catalina using opencore. However only usb 3.1 is working as I use dsdt of x99 a ii. If interested I can share my efi.

I tried to replace the ssdts of seevolas for my x99 deluxe ii. I generated the ec, plug and hedt using ssdttime. When I use Those, though the System does not boot. Perhaps gotta use maciasl? What strikes me most is that only my usb 3.1 is found . Xhci and ehci handoff enabled in bios just fine.
