    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

    Hello everyone! I have a couple of these Designare builds that have been running Catalina well for a long time now. Both are starting to develop some problems. I have one that gives me an error when I try to copy files OFF of the Samsung m.2 boot drive. this error, specifically: The...

    [SUCCESS] blouse's "Hack Pro" :: i9-9900K + Z390 Aorus Pro + Vega 64 + TB3 + USB3 :: 100% working

    I'm very grateful, thank you. :) I must be doing something different as I'm not seeing what you're seeing without using USBInjectAll Today my computer went completely insane... my external Thunderbolt chassis kept on disappearing randomly, and Pro Tools would freeze up and complain that I...

    [SUCCESS] blouse's "Hack Pro" :: i9-9900K + Z390 Aorus Pro + Vega 64 + TB3 + USB3 :: 100% working

    You might remember that I had said I was using bits of your EFI. Last night I realized that my computer wasn't seeing any of its USB 3 ports. I had to remove USBPorts.kext and replace it with USBInjectAll to get them going. Apparently this is the way to go? Use the SSDTs and USBInjectAll...

    Unreliable boot on Z390 Aorus Pro when not using OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi

    Currently running F9. I tried F12D but ran into all these other problems that I went back to F9... Now that the imacpro1,1 smbios is working well for me, I might try to go back to F12

    Is it because you're using EmuVariableUefi.efi?

    I've been going through your thread, and have downloaded your Clover EFI to see how you pulled that off, but it's not clear to me how you did it? How are you circumventing the need for it?

    One more question :) What version of BIOS are you running?

    Welp, I feel like a dumb dumb. I've been running hacks since 2009, and I've never done that.

    I'm not using OCQuirks just yet, but I have managed to make my system work with OsxAptioFix3Drv by changing my SMBIOS to iMacPro1,1 and disabling the iGPU. So that's an improvement :) A question for you: My current EFI is based on yours, and I've been wondering about all those aml files in...

    Unreliable boot on Z390 Aorus Pro when not using OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi

    I haven't used Multibeast for this install, but I am using the latest version of Clover (5118) Here's the EFI that I just made that seems to be working pretty well! Next step I'll try is to unlock MSR and use OCQuirks.

    Unreliable boot on Z390 Aorus Pro when not using OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi

    Hahaha, I've been trying to reply to all of you guys for the past hour, but my posts keep disappearing for some reason. I'm on the latest version of Catalina, 15.5... I'm not so much desperate to use OCQuirks... I just want to stop using osxaptiofix2drv-free2000... just because everyone says...

    Oh! Well that's interesting, because your OCQuirks EFI that you posted a little while back is one of 2 that I tried. The EFI I'm using now is a bit of a mishmash of yours combined with the one I had been using for the past year, before I tried using OCQuirks earlier this week. That's just the...
