I was running El Capitan up to now. On El Capitan, I had both ethernet lines and wifi connected and running. With High Sierra, only my wifi and ethernet 2 connected and running. Is there a network setting in multibeast that would enable both ethernets?
High Sierra 10.13.1

I installed it this morning and now my system is not operating properly.. Apps open but stay blank. And like an idiot, I did not backup prior to installing update :(
-gygabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H
-i7 4771
-no wifi
-memory 32 (4x8gb)
Not sure what my fix is?
Thanks Bald, I'm reading thru the pages... I'm not 100% sure on what my next step is?? Also, that is a laptop forum, I'm on a desktop. Sorry, I'm a newbie to this :(
I keep getting stuck on this screen when trying to do a fresh install. I followed the instructions on creating a USB with clover and El Capitan. No matter what I do, after the apple logo gets to about 3/4 of the way loading, it gives me this screen. Help please
My FaceTime works fine on 10.10.2 using multibeast/unibeast. The only part of FT that does not work is my iPhone handoff. I can answer the call and hear the other end, but they can not hear me. iMessage does not work.
In the guide (http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/143976-unibeast-install-os-x-yosemite-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html) it says to "disable" "Secure Boot Mode". I have a Gigabyte Z87X-UD5H & i7-4771. When I go to "Secure Boot Mode" in my BIOS, my options are "Standard" OR...
I followed the instructions and the SSD was already on the newest Mac firmware. I believe it has something to do with the RAM being overloaded?? I installed free memory app and since using it my crashes have been considerably less. I'm maxed out at 6gb of ram on my '07 iMac
Thanks Going Bald. The funny thing is, when I called Samsung support, the guy I spoke to there is the one who told me about building a Hackintosh! He basically said the SSD will never work properly in my iMac.
I've also read that in order to update the SSD, you need to remove it, update on...
I'm about to start my first Hackintosh build. I was planning on using my Samsung 840 PRO SSD 256GB. The iMac(2007) does not work well with the SSD. Lot's of crashes/data lost. I want to pull the SSD out and use it in my new build. What would be the best way? Should I wipe the drive prior...
Thanks trs96! That was informative. Looks like a great build. For my purposes, I'll stick with the UD5H and I'm leaning towards the 4771. Any reason to stick with a 4770 series over the 4771?
I already have in my possession:
Samsung 840 Pro SSD 256 (OSX boot)
Corsair Carbide 500R
Corsair...
This will be my first hackintosh. I will use this mostly for my business and business applications. I do a lot internet research and it's typical to have 10-20 windows open with 10-20 tabs in each. I also do some photo editing. I do not game nor do I video edit besides some basic stuff.
My...
Thank you Going Bald. I understand now. Just because it has "Haswell" in the name, doesn't mean it's the same thing
I think I'm pretty set on my build. Last thing is Monitors. Any advice? I was looking at some Samsung 27" in the $200-$300 range. I will want 2 of them.
