Controlling Your Monitor with OSX: DDC Panel

The main idea behind that was to get the brightness buttons and illumination HUD from the system (sort of faking presence of ACPI PNLF). I took the BrightnessMenulet sources recently and added your DDC files to it and my main issue was that i couldn`t listen for the apple F1 and F2 keys from...

Controlling Your Monitor with OSX: DDC Panel

@SJ_UnderWater, great work, I can modify brightness and contrast on both of my Dell U2311H screens. Maybe a stupid idea, but do you think it is possible to take the ACPIBrightness.kext and modify it, so instead of sending ACPI commands it would send DDC commands to set brightness? That way we...

Post your 3770 (non-K) overclock and Geekbench score

I have a Scythe Mugen 2 and I'm very happy with it. After a night with prime95 running, the temps were under 70°C. In idle the tems are usually under 30°. I have a Fractal Design Define R3 tower with 4 case fans and the cpu fan. All fans are on 7V, it's very quiet and super cool.

    DSDT for Asus P8Z77-M Pro

So far I managed to patch my DSDT for MSI Z77A-G45 and it works fine! Sleep/wake/shutdown/restart no issues. My DSDT and an ioreg dump are attached. What I did was basically everything in Mieze's email which Mrengles posted. The only thing which bugs me is an error in the console every boot...

    ASRock Z77 Extreme3

Yes I bought an i7 3770 and I will keep my 6870 also. I want to have both GPUs active and to drive 3 display with them. The HD4000 should handle a TV with HDMI sound and the 6870 two normal screens. The reason why I want to have the HD4000 active is mostly Airplay. I wanted to create my own...
