Upgrade to Ventura very smooth with OC 0.8.4, but had to update first to 12.6.1, because of an error while trying to install from 12.6. The error might as well have nothing to do with needing 12.6.1, but I did it as precaution. All well so far now.

Well it ended up being a tricky ssd drive. Should have known better, as the OpenCore Guide warns that Samsung PM981 drives were likely to cause kernel panics, well it did for me. I changed the drive, and it all went much better (not through yet), at least much faster.

Zeratulcz, no, the waiting didn't solve things. I'm trying to find solutions, some parameters must be wrong. I got to the installer, but after a first reboot, it stalled again.

Also tried to give a go to 5123, but also got the message "did not find config.plist/Quirks", so got back to Clover r5119. Got to figure out those ocquirks. Otherwise after update to Lilu 1.4.8, WhateverGreen 1.4.3 and AppleALC 1.5.3, update went smoothly, about 40 minutes and 3 reboots.

Yes, I went with only one driver. Didn't try yet OcQuirks, but saw this. Looks like Aptio is no longer maintained and replaced by OcQuirks. Might give it a try, but it's only for up to 5119. What happened since 5120 I wonder.

Thanks Archangeliques. What was working for me was OsxAptioFixDrv, which was still checked by default (and none of the new OcQuirks). I changed to AptioMemoryFix to give it a try, but I don't even get to the boot process. But thanks anyway for the lead.

No problem. After updating Lilu, WhateverGreen and AppleALC, 38 minutes, 2 reboots on the right install drive this time. Nothing wrong so far. Still on Clover 5119 though, 5120 and 5121 causing kernel panic. Didn’t figure out yet what causes it.

Hmm... As far as I’m concerned, not yet. Still stuck at some memory panic. At least not from the update I get from Clover Configurator. It seems to be still the same package.

Apart from the fact that Clover 5120 made the boot impossible (fixed by reverting to 5119), about 35 minutes and 2 reboots. Smooth.
