Thanks for the reply. I guess there’s no USB adapter for Bluetooth/WiFi, which is supported?

WiFi/Bluetooth for GA-H270N-WIFI on High Sierra?

Hi, I’ve got my first Hackintosh working, with the exception of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Is there a way to get the built-in Wi-Fi card on the Gigabyte board to work? Or is the only option to buy a replacement card and adapter? Thanks.

Question about adding NTFS hard drives for dual boot

Hi, I’ve just (almost) completed my first Hackintosh with High Sierra and I used my main PC - there’s an M.2 SSD slot on the underside of the motherboard. In order to eliminate any possibility of data corruption/loss from my Windows 10 formatted hard drives, I disconnected them before...

macOS will only boot from USB

Okay, so I ran Multibeast, built my config and boot, then installed it. The computer now boots without the USB key (success!), although it still seems to start Clover first, before I select to boot macOS. Is that normal or should it just go straight into macOS? Now I need to figure out Audio...

macOS will only boot from USB

Can I just download it and drag it onto the efi drive, and can I use the Hackintosh to do that? I haven’t tried connecting it to the internet yet, but was thinking doing so via Ethernet.

macOS will only boot from USB

Hi, After a few issues, I’ve installed High Sierra mostly successfully, however, if I remove the USB stick and try to boot from the SSD where I installed macOS, I cannot boot up the computer. Once I reinsert the USB installation stick, I can set that as the boot device and the OS starts up...

<< Solved >> Problems creating boot disk

I consider this to be resolved, as I managed to get macOS installed; kind of. I’ll create a new thread for the issues I have with the installation.

<< Solved >> Problems creating boot disk

Here’s what I saw in disk utilities. I’m not clear on whether or not my USB device should have 2 partitions, as there appears to be. It was brand new when I created the High Sierra install. Is that why I’m getting the warning? Anyone know what I need to do?

<< Solved >> Problems creating boot disk

I installed my M.2 SSD; had to remove the motherboard from my PC, as the socket is on the reverse side of the motherboard. Booted up from my USB stick and had a promising start. It started booting MacOS, I selected my language, then I got to utilities, in order to format by SSD. However...

<< Solved >> Problems creating boot disk

Hi, First off, I have PC hardware that is compatible with Catalina. The Mac I’m using to create my bootable USB stick, is running Sierra and is a 2011 iMac. I couldn’t download Catalina on it, so I used a recent MacBook to do that. I then copied the Catalina install file across to an Ex-Fat...

    Which SSD for Catalina?

    That’s great to hear! Thanks.

    Which SSD for Catalina?

Hi, I would like to use my existing PC to try a Hackintosh build with Catalina, by just temporarily removing the hard drive and fitting a new one, for installing OSX. The SSDs in the hardware guide seem a bit expensive for what will be an experiment, so can anyone recommend something...

    Mavericks on Lenovo T61p?

Thanks - I'll try again using Clover. From what I'd read, I thought Clover wasn't the right method for me, but hopefully it will work.
