Hey, that did the trick! :) Seems to work just fine now. Why do I need to trim the ports down, though? Can't I just leave it as is?

Neither of the ports change color as I connect an external drive. They all stay the same color throughout. It's a port on the motherboard. The port is USB 3.0.

Hi, I've got at weird problem. My hackintosh refuses to recognise mass storage USB-devices. Mouse, keyboard and external audio card works fine, but it refuses to mount storage devices. Every once in a while I can get a flashdrive to mount, but never a HDD/SSD. I've tried disabling XHCI in UEFI...

I'm having a strange problem. I'm running a dual monitor setup, and whenever I have my second monitor hooked up, the monitors keeps on blinking after wake from (what I guess is) deep sleep. Updated the kexts and added -cdfon to the boot-arguments. Didn't help. The "-cdfon"-thing changed my display preferences, but other than that - no effect. Where do I add the screen resolution in my config? EDIT: What about this "Inject EDID"-feature. Doesn't that sound like what I'm looking...

But would it help? I only want the graphics thing sorted. Everything else works fine.

Hm, having mounted the EFI-partition, a few more kexts showed up. However, I did as instructed and updated Lilu + Whatevergreen, and also removed the FakePCIID. The latter still shows up in Hackintools, however. EDIT: Also, I messed around with the Displays-options in Hackintools, trying to...

Thanks for your reply! :) I tried SwitchResX earlier today. Unfortunately, it only resulted in a deformed picture on the center of the screen. For some reason it didn’t stretch out to cover all of the screen area, and the options to manually adjust it are greyed out in the monitors settings...
