I don't think its the iTunes/QT issue because my issue happens all the time whether itunes is being used or if it's not being used.

no both mice work different brands. the original mouse was wireless the new mouse it's wired usb. thank you for your help.

Yes the keyboard functions at normal speed and so does the system. By changing the settings,i.e. the speed, under mouse system preferences the issue still happens like if I didn't change anything. Thank you for your help.

Oh I forgot to mention that I have already tried a new mouse and the problem persists.

Re: gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r i7 930 post install problems Ok i tried starting with -v -x PCIRootUID=1 but it was it a no good. Here is where the screen got stuck. (All three pictures are of the same thing I just took different one because my camera is not that good.)
