Hi @CaseySJ Catalina and yes AppleVTD is showing in IORegistryExplorer.

I can confirm that Crucial Ballistix 2x16GB https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B083TRRT1L/?tag=tonymacx86-21 works with VT-d enabled and Ethernet & Fenvi WiFi are both fine.

Has anyone tried the F9k BIOS? It’s on the TweakTown website.

It works fine with the on-board ports which aren’t flashed.

Hi @CaseySJ It was just a thought about the BIOS. I may have a go at reverting to F8 to see if it works. The Thunderbolt ports on the Designare are working fine. I just use the add in card for experimentation so it is not a problem. Just trying to pin down the reason for the change.

I don’t have any USB-C Alt Mode devices so I know it’s not that. I’ve only tried it so far with an Apple FireWire adapter.

@CaseySJ I spoke too soon. It doesn’t appear to be working but I’m sure it was previously on 10.15.7. Could it be Bios related? I don’t think I had tried it since updating to F9i from F8.

My flashed V1 GC-Titan Ridge card seems to still be working ok with Catalina 10.15.7.

You need to change UEFI>Audio>PlayChime to be a String with a value of Auto

Did you read the instructions? The file path or name is clearly wrong.
