The nvidia looks to be around 40 which is what I was looking for. Again it’s essentially a server so don’t need anything too beefy. Just something compatible with the OS. Thanks for the suggestions!

Any recommendations for a desktop GPU? Just something cheap and quick. My rig is mostly a media server that I would like to use for light gaming/general purpose.

Hello all. Is there a way to increase the VRAM for an unsupported card in Catalina/Big Sur? I plan on buying a new card in a couple of weeks, just looking to get by. I know this card isn’t supported but thought there might be a workaround.

I have another drive in it that has a Windows install. I’ll try cloning that to this drive and using that one.

Yes I tried that as well. When I try to format as APFS it seems to be working and then throws an error.

The whole drive. It had Linux on it before.

I finally got my installation disk running. Installer runs but I can’t format to APFS. It lets me install with MacOS Journaled Extended. Then I get this on reboot.

Tried updating clover. Still no boots actually gets less progress. :(

I managed to boot using your plist and it seems many of the patches did apply. I now have trackpad prefpane where I did not before. The only thing not working is audio which I'm sure I'll figure that out eventually. Just a quick question. When booting the apple boot screen goes garbled...

Doing a standard install, installing Kexts, and changing graphics in the plist seems to work. I have acceleration on intel, webcam works, so I should be good. Not terribly concerned with the gtx. The only things not working are sound and the touchpad seems iffy, it might need an alps kext. I'll...
