The only result returned is
/usr/local/bin/iasl
File is 1.1 Mb and was created today at 6:24 PM. I don't see any other version information I can give you.
Ahhhh.haaa
It is saying /usr/local/bin the version I made was in /usr/bin ... Let me try this again

What do you mean? I built it manually exactly like it says right in that page?! Not only did I do a manual build, before I did that I tried the download from here https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/acpica/downloads , iasl.zip. Both versions reject the -dl flag.
Building the latest iasl from github...
I am trying to patch the acpi, I have my dsdt pulled from clover. I keep having the issue that one of the flags I am using is not supported:
I use the command: iasl -da -dl *.aml
It comes back saying: Unknown option: -dl
I am following this guide...
Okay, did the best I could to I think match what is on that guide. Still have the exact same behavior. Here is my new EFI\Clover folder. If something is missing, please be specific.
Could you maybe be a little less vague...It is a very long document and I have tried the different solutions in it. If you would like to be more clear as to exactly what changes my config.plist needs and which kexts are missing or need to be removed, I would be happy to try those.

Best I can tell this is a USB error. The ports (have tested them all) seem to shut down during the boot process...
Exact same problem on exact same laptop. What seems to be happening is ALL USB ports power down in the middle of the install. Have unsuccessfully tried most of the listed USB solutions. Am convinced this is going to take a DSDT edit but I am still trying to figure that out.
Well you need to be more specific on what problem you are actually having. In general here are the steps I went through for install.
1. Created bootable USB w/ vanilla 10.7.3
2. Boot from USB and install. If your keyboard is not recognized during install plug in a usb one.
3. When install is...
For anyone reading this thread in the hopes of solving your own problem....
The video GPU is actually based in the CPU and not on the motherboard now as it used to be. That means the GPU is dependant on the CPU installed, so not sure if this applies to all 5749Z models. I have a Pentium B960...
I used the files here: http://www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2539
You have to edit the Natit and GeForce kexts to reflect your actual device ID. This will give you basic video acceleration and resolution change. You do NOT get full QE/CI but this is by far the best solution for HD2000...
Re: Chimera 1.9.1 - Detects incorrect video card
Pardon my ignorance. I did not realize that the intel gpu were moved off motherboard and placed into actual CPU. After further research it is in fact an HD2000 in my system. No bug here.
